2027: Storms of change will resist INEC, security – Kwankwaso

The 2023 Presidential Candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has said, that when the storms of change blow in 2027, many will run helter-skelter for their lives.

He stated this while receiving thousands of APC decampees to his party on Thursday.

Kwankwaso, who received a whole collapsed APC structure of the Dala Local Government area of Kano at his Millar Road country home, said, “Nigerians, more specifically Northerners, have suffered enough, and no amount of pressure, fear, and attacks will change their minds from changing the narratives.”

He urged that “Northern Nigeria should rethink their political positions on the position they find themselves. It is clear to everybody that the journey of the APC government is clearly against the poor, and they will never change on it.”

The leader of the NNPP hinted that “regardless of their beliefs that they would use security and INEC in the forthcoming elections, that will not work. Nigerians are fed up with them and will surely fight to change the government.”

“When the storms of change blow, you will see those who think they have security and INEC running helter-skelter, and Nigerians will make the right choice of those who will soften their unfortunate situation.”

Kwankwaso said the receiving of the decampees is a historical day, “that we are receiving over one thousand decampees from 12 wards of the Dala Local Government Council. This shows that the whole APC structure in the local government has collapsed into NNPP.”

He said, “Dala is a known area that historically belongs to us.” He crowned all the decampees as leaders in their categories, insisting that Kwankwasiyya and NNPP doors are open to all those who are coming in.

Kwankwaso further received decampees from Gwale and Kiru Local Governments, who said they are decamping because of the good policies of the government of the state.

“We created the APC that we collectively created, but it has now turned into a vicious circle for the poor, with no security and poverty eating deep into the fabric of Nigerians. This is no longer acceptable to the citizens,” he said.
