The Super Eagles of Nigeria camp in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, is bubbling as 21 players are currently present ahead of their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) clash against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
Super Eagles players started touching down at the camp on Monday, November 11. The first set of players that arrived at the camp were Raphael Onyedika, Frank Onyeka, Moses Simon, Bruno Onyemaechi, Samuel Chukwueze, Gabriel Osho, and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru.
Earlier this morning, November 12, three more players arrived at the camp. The three players were Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho, and Maduka Okoye.
This afternoon, the number of players in camp increased to 21 with the arrival of some of the biggest names in the squad including the team’s talisman, Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Victor Boniface, and William Troost-Ekong.
Other players in camp are Ola Aina, Calvin Bassey, Alhassan Yusuf, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Alex Iwobi, and Victor Collins.
Note that the Super Eagles are scheduled to take on Benin Republic in their 2025 AFCON qualifiers matchday five at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 14. Following the game in Ivory Coast, they will take on Rwanda at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium at 5 p.m. on Monday, November 18.
The Super Eagles need just a point from the two games to seal their place in the 2025 AFCON as they are currently topping Group D with ten points in four games.
