A former Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council, IPAC, in Osun State, Wale Adebayo has advised students to take advantage of the government’s student loan programme.
In an interview with DAILY POST on Monday in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, Adebayo emphasised the importance of acquiring education and skills.
He noted that the loan initiative was a viable means of achieving this goal.
He advised students against resorting to protests and suggested that dialogue and constructive engagement with authority would be more productive in addressing their concerns.
According to him, the need for students to prioritise their education and engage in meaningful discussions with the government to resolve any issues was paramount.
“Our youth should give room for dialogue and constructive engagement with authorities, rather than resorting to protests and demonstrations.
“By doing so, they can effectively communicate their concerns and work towards finding solutions that benefit everyone,” he said.
He added that, “Dialogue provides a platform for mutual understanding, respect, and collaboration, leading to more positive outcomes and sustainable change.
“Let us encourage our young people to embrace dialogue and become active participants in shaping their future and the future of our nation.”
