Super Eagles of Nigeria forward, Ademola Lookman has been excluded from Atalanta’s squad for their upcoming Italian Serie A match against Lecce.

Reports suggest that Ademola Lookman is being linked with a potential move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Reports in Italy claimed that Lookman communicated his desire not to be involved in the Atalanta squad as he anticipates the opportunity to join the French champions.

Despite this, there has been no formal bid from PSG for Lookman’s services.

Top clubs in Europe, especially PSG picked interest in Lookman after playing a significant role in Atalanta’s Europa League triumph over Bayer Leverkusen last season. Recall that he scored a hat trick in the said game.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace are reportedly leading the race to sign Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka, as reported by The Sun.

Chukwuemeka, who joined Chelsea from Aston Villa in 2022, has made 27 appearances for the west London-based club.

The new Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca, is open to letting the 20-year-old midfielder leave for the prospect of more playing time, despite having another four years left on his contract at Stamford Bridge.

The Nigerian-born England Under-21 international has faced setbacks due to injury, including two extended periods on the sidelines due to a knee problem last season.
