The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace, Allen Onyema, has reiterated the airline’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards in aviation across Africa.
Onyema made the statement after the airline secured its 6th IATA Operational Safety Audit certification, a significant achievement for the Nigerian carrier.
In a statement on Friday, Onyema expressed his gratitude for the recognition, saying, “This achievement reflects our unwavering commitment to safety and operational excellence. It is our mission to not only connect Africa but to do so while upholding the highest standards in aviation.”
Securing the IOSA certification for the sixth time, Air Peace has now solidified its position as a frontrunner in African aviation.
The IOSA certification is an internationally recognised safety benchmark from the International Air Transport Association, awarded to airlines that meet stringent safety and operational standards.
By achieving the milestone for the sixth time, Air Peace has raised the bar for safety in African aviation, setting an example for other carriers on the continent.
According to the statement, some analysts commended the airline for prioritising passenger safety and operational reliability.
