Troops serving in North East Nigeria under Operation HADIN KAI

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital today airlifted some frontline fighters to different states of the Federation for their annual leave.

In a post made by the Headquarters, Nigeria Army, the troops were chatted on Value jet Aircraft from Maiduguri airport to various destinations across the country, a gesture which is part of the Chief of Army staff ‘s bi-monthly Welfare Flight Initiatives.

According to the Nigerian Army, the effort is to ensure secure and fast travel for the warriors to connect with their families and loved ones.

Annual leave in the Nigerian Army is a paid time off often granted to soldiers and officers to rest, relax, and recharge after a year of active service, a provision which serves as a standard benefit for all personnel in the Nigerian Army.
