Augustine Eguavoen Invites 35 Players For 2025 CHAN Qualifiers

The head coach of the Super Eagles B team, Augustine Eguavoen, has called up a squad of 35 players in preparation for the upcoming qualifying fixtures for the 2025 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) against Ghana.

Among the notable players coach Augustine Eguavoen selected to join the training camp are Remo Stars’ talented wing-back Ismail Sadiq, Kano Pillars’ dynamic forward Zikifilu Rabiu, and Enugu Rangers’ creative attacking midfielder Kazeem Ogunleye.

These players have been recognized for their contributions in the domestic league, making them vital assets for the team.

The first leg of the highly anticipated clash is scheduled to take place from December 20th to 22nd, while the return leg is set for the following week. This two-legged matchup will determine which team qualifies for the CHAN tournament.

The overall winner of this qualifying series will secure a spot in the 2025 Africa Nations Championship, which is set to be co-hosted by Kenya, Moore, and Tanzania. The finals of this tournament are slated to occur from February 1st to 28th, 2025.
