The Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has sealed a partnership deal with the Bauchi Health Workers Awareness Forum in the area of education and enlightment on health related issues.

The Executive Secretary of the Board, Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris, disclosed this in a press release issued by the board’s Information Officer, Muhammad Sani, on Wednesday.

The statement noted that the deal was consummated following a courtesy visit, which the leadership of the forum paid to his office.

Idris explained that, “Part of the objectives for the establishment of the board was to enlighten prospective pilgrims on what to do and what not to do during Hajj operations here at home and while performing the Hajj exercise in Saudi Arabia.

“We commend the forum’s contributions in the service to humanity and reiterate our commitments to make good use of the forum at the Hajj Bita Centres in Bauchi State,” the statement added.

Continuing, the statement noted further through its chairman, Abubakar Adamu, that members of the board were on an advocacy visit and to seek collaboration by way of service to the pilgrims.

He disclosed that “the forum has no fewer than 4028 members who works with 1116 government healthcare centres in the state, stressing that his members are ready to serve the pilgrims.”
