Big Brother Naija Season 9 contestant Chinwe has urged Biggie to strip the custodians and housemates of their eviction power.
DAILY POST reports that the rule this season gives any pair that wins the custodian challenge the power to influence nominations and eviction.
Housemates who are not in the bottom four also get to vote for which pair to be evicted sometimes, depending on what’s in the custodian box.
During a conversation with fellow housemates on Monday, Chinwe lamented that the current method of evicting was preventing the housemates from fully expressing themselves.
She then urged Biggie to scrap the method to allow the housemates to express themselves without fear of their colleagues evicting them.
She said, “There’s too much power in this house, so people cannot actually speak their minds. And that makes mad sense. The fact that we have to even walk in there [Dairy room] to decide people’s fate is enough to calm you down.
“Do you understand? Biggie should scrap that method. Talk your talk. The fact that we have to decide people’s fate, you wouldn’t want to step on toes to avoid other housemates ganging up against you.”
