Nigerian actress Beverly Osu has revealed that she is grateful for not winning Big Brother Africa season 8 in 2013. During a candid interview with HIPTV, Osu shared insights into her career and personal growth since her time on the reality show.

Reflecting on her experience, Osu humorously noted that her mother was relieved she didn’t win the cash prize, fearing it might lead her astray. “If the fans were praying for me to win, the woman who birthed me was praying to God that ‘If this child is going to win this money and go astray, God please don’t give it to her,’” Osu recounted.

Osu, who was never up for eviction during her time on the show, expressed that not winning was a blessing in disguise. She acknowledged that she might not have had the maturity to manage the prize money effectively at that time. “God’s timing is the best, and we are happy that now we have made more than that money,” she said. “If I had the money then, I probably would not have known what to do with it. I didn’t have the experience to make it impactful in my life, so yeah, so far I’m winning in life now.”
