BREAKING: Gareth Southgate resigns as England manager 

England manager in Euros 2024 Gareth Southgate has resigned from his role as head coach.

Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano announced this via X on Tuesday.

Southgate said, “As proud Englishman, it has been the honour of my life to play for England and to manage England. It has meant everything to me, and I have given it my all.

“But it’s time for change, and for a new chapter. I’m leaving my role.”
