Bridge House to mark 20th anniversary with public lecture on artificial intelligence

Bridge House College (BHC) has set plans in motion to host a public lecture as part of activities to mark its 20th anniversary.

The public lecture on Artificial Intelligence will hold on Tuesday, June, 25 alongside prize-giving ceremony to honour academic excellence.

The event themed: ‘Artificial Intelligence and Education- Opportunities and Challenges’ will x-ray the imperatives of AI in the new global knowledge economy.

The event will also feature Mrs. Nkemdilim Uwaje Begho as one of the guest speakers. She is the Chief Executive Officer of Future Software Resources Limited.

Begho is a seasoned Information Technology professional with over 15 years of industry experience in Africa’s largest emerging economy. She has a deep purpose and focus on bridging the digital divide and transforming Africa by harnessing the benefits of digital technology.

In her remarks, the school’s Executive Director, Foluke AbdulRazaq emphasised in a statement that the college’s vision is to provide the best platform for students to access the finest institutions globally and locally.

The Chairperson, Organising Committee, Rosemary Dokun, listed the school’s accomplishments as including consistent excellent results in Cambridge Assessment International Education Examinations over the years, first position at the US Consulate International Education Week Competition, 2023; Winner of APEN 2023 Debate Competition, Beacon of Safety Status awards for Lagos State 2023/2024 amongst others.
