Campaign with facts, Kaduna LG chair urges supporters

The Executive Chairman of Zangon Kataf Local Government Council and the Peoples Democratic Party candidate in the state’s October 19, 2024 council elections has charged all his supporters to go about their campaign with facts and avoid unnecessary fights.

The chairman stated this while addressing a team of his supporters led by Mrs. Ezekiel Bosan, who visited him on Tuesday in his office at the Zonkwa LG headquarters.

The supporters were in his office to express their commitment to campaign for him and ensure his re-election.

The council chairman used the opportunity to appeal to his supporters to refrain from verbal abuse and unnecessary drama and to fight for his ambition.

“Exhibit a high sense of responsibility and maturity in campaigning for me, and by the grace of God, we’ll emerge victorious, even under intense provocation from the opposition, they should respond with decorum and occupy the moral high ground rather than sink low with their aggressors,” he stated.

He further emphasised the need for issue-based campaigns, saying, “Let’s campaign on the strength of character and personalities, based on our previous track record of achievements.”

“You must campaign in all our polling units. We are going to emphasise campaigns at the grassroots level and ensure that we win in all the units.”
