The transfer window is reaching its final hours, and one of the most intriguing sagas yet to be resolved is the future of Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen.

Renowned transfer experts David Ornstein and Fabrizio Romano have reported that top clubs like Chelsea and PSG are still showing interest in Victor Osimhen.

Despite widespread expectations of an earlier departure from Napoli during the summer transfer window, Osimhen remains at the centre of intense speculation.

Apart from Chelsea and PSG, other major European clubs, such as Arsenal, are also expressing interest in the 25-year-old striker.

While a couple of Saudi Arabian clubs have shown interest as well, Osimhen seems reluctant to consider a move to the Middle East at this time.

In a recent discussion on the Sky Sports Back Pages Podcast, transfer expert, David Ornstein emphasized the potential for a dramatic transfer involving Osimhen on the deadline day.

Ornstein hinted at ongoing interest from Chelsea and raised the possibility of PSG making a strong push for Osimhen, given his status as a high-profile striker.

“This is one we understand is going to go down on transfer deadline day, and it will be one of those dramatic stories about where Victor Osimhen ends up,” Ornstein said.

“Chelsea retain an interest in him, but it’s about what form the deal may take. Who else? Maybe PSG had a strong interest in Osimhen before, so that could be lively. He’s a box office name, a big-time striker.”

As the deadline approaches, Osimhen’s next destination remains uncertain, and the situation appears poised for last-minute twists.

Adding to the intrigue, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has disclosed that PSG has not yet submitted an official bid to Napoli, but they are expected to make a late offer before the impending deadline.

Osimhen has made a significant impact at Napoli over the past three seasons, amassing an impressive record of 76 goals and 18 assists in 133 appearances.
