CIPM Inducts 600, Awards Best Students

Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) has inducted 600 as members at its 57th induction ceremony in Lagos.

Of the 600 inductees, Mr Godwin Aondoungwa emerged as the overall best graduating student of the June 2024 examination diet and was awarded a cash prize of N250,000.

In his acceptance speech, he said, “I am sincerely honoured to be recognised as the overall best graduating student. My deepest gratitude goes to the president and distinguished officials of this noble institute for this profound recognition.

“This is not just an award; it is a testament to the hard work, perseverance and passion that each of us has poured into our journey as HR professionals.”

While Aondoungwa emerged as the overall best graduating student, Miss Oluomoniyi Comfort was recognised as the best graduating student in Labour Market Analysis.

Also, Mr Oladimeji Opeyemi was named the best graduating student in Advanced Human Resource Management and Nigerian Labour Law while Miss Raimot Lemose clinched the best graduating student in Advanced Employment Relations.

The overall best graduating student, Mr Aondoungwa, apart from being awarded a cash prize of N250,000, sponsored by Bezaleel Consulting, also won an all-expenses-paid trip to the largest HR event in Africa – the 56th International Conference and Exhibition, taking place from October 14-17  in Abuja.

CIPM said it remains committed to fostering professional development and growth for individuals and organisations passionate about effective and impactful people management.
