It’s not a common thing to see a young man celebrated by African leaders, including former Presidents and influential figures on the occasion of his birthday. But Dr. Stanley Uzochukwu, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, CEO of Stanel Group and The Delborough Lagos, is not a common man.

And what he has accomplished is definitely not ‘common’. So, its no shock that Dr. Stanley, the man of the hour commanded attention across Africa when he celebrated his 40th birthday a few days ago. Dr. Uzochukwu’s unbelievable achievements at 40 are something worthy of commendation and applause.

The high-flying businessman has achieved what many of his peers can only dream about. Interestingly, he’s not the type to brag about his accomplishments. No doubt, Dr. Uzochukwu’s humility has contributed significantly to his rise to the top because God exalts the humble.

Described as a compassionate businessman, Dr. Uzochukwu is known for spending every minute of every day doing what he does best. And that’s entrepreneurship. At 40th he has built for himself a conglomerate that will serve many generations after his existence. He’s the Chairman of Stanel Group, a conglomerate with interests in Nigeria’s oil sector and construction industry.

He’s also a big player in the Nigerian hospitality industry. Dr. Uzochukwu’s The Delborough hotel, a five-star hotel located in Victoria Island, Lagos, is said to be one of the most luxurious hotels in Africa.

Even former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Nigeria’s former leader described The Delborough Lagos as ‘a reputable and highly sought after hotel’ in his official congratulory letter to Dr. Uzochukwu on the occasion of his 40th birthday. That’s the stuff Dr. Uzochukwu is made of. Everything he touches turn to gold.

In addition, Dr. Uzochukwu’s greatness is not limited to Nigeria. He’s a force to reckon with across the continent of Africa. Dr. Uzochukwu is a member of both the DRC-Nigeria Business Council and Angola Nigeria Business Council.

Aside being a highly successful businessman, Dr. Uzochukwu is a philanthropist of international repute. For instance, to celebrate his 40th birthday, the Stanel Group boss launched a N40 million grant for 80 businesses across Nigeria through his foundation, Stanley Uzochukwu Foundation.

He is a man committed to the development of humanity. His humility has endeared him to a lot of people from every corner of the world. On his birthday he was joined by former President Olusegun Obasanjo for an afternoon of praise and worship and lunch as he offered praises to God for his benevolence and mercy over the past four decades.
