Co-driver killed in crash at Jim Clark Rally

A co-driver in the Jim Clark rally has been killed in a crash at the event in the Scottish Borders.

Emergency services were called to the incident at the event near Duns at around 10:50.

The 39-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. The 27-year-old driver was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.

Organisers said the remainder of the event and Sunday's Jim Clark Reivers Rally have been cancelled.
