Community Appeals To Nasarawa Govt On Rural Road Construction

The chief of Hausa community in Jiwape, Jibril Muhammed has called on the Nasarawa State government to construct roads in the area to ease the transportation of goods and services.

According to the chief, roads, power supply and other social amenities are among the things that bring quick development to an area.

Jibril who made the appeal at his palace in Jiwape, Karu local government area, also noted that in his two years of reigning as the chief of Hausa community in Jiwape, he has brought some level of development within his territory.

He added that collaboration with NGOs has further enhanced development among his people.

The traditional ruler hinted that in the area of security, there has also been steady progress because of the decision of his people to maintain peaceful co-existence.

According to the chief, vigilantes, other security agencies and critical stakeholders are playing vital roles in reducing the activities of men of the underworld in his domain.

He called on people of the area to continue to cooperate with him and also give any advice that could help him in discharging his responsibilities effectively.
