Popular Nigerian actor, Ime Bishop, also known as Okon of Lagos, has condemned the growing popularity of plastic surgery among young women.
Bishop warned that changing one’s body goes against God’s original design.
The thespian questioned individuals taking on the role of “project supervisor” for God’s creation, stating that people are trying to improve upon perfection.
Speaking via social media, he encouraged individuals to appreciate and respect their natural beauty, which is created by God.
Bishop highlighted the potential risks and moral implications of plastic surgery while acknowledging personal autonomy.
