Couple in crash that killed six people named

A couple who died when their car and a motorbike collided on a rural West Yorkshire road have been named locally as Shannen Morgan and Shane Roller.

Ms Morgan, Mr Roller and two girls who were in their Ford Focus car were killed in the crash on the A61 between Wakefield and Barnsley on Sunday afternoon.

The man and woman who were on the motorbike also died at the scene, officers said.

Security minister Dan Jarvis, MP for Barnsley North, called the deaths "devastating news".
