Nigerian Afrobeat sensation David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, celebrated his 32nd birthday with a spectacular live-stream concert on Thursday, November 21, 2024.

The Grammy-nominated artist announced the event on his X account, sharing his excitement with fans in a post captioned, “B-Day Party @StateFarmArena.”

The concert took place in Atlanta, Georgia, his birthplace.

Davido was joined on stage by a stellar lineup of artists, including South African producer Musa Keys, Mayorkun, Odumodublvck, Ecool, and others.

The concert was broadcast live by Kiwse, ensuring fans worldwide could join the celebration.

In keeping with his tradition of giving back, Davido revealed plans to donate N300 million to orphanages as part of his birthday celebrations. Announcing the initiative on his X page, he wrote, “Once again, my birthday this year we are donating to orphanages and a charity that helps young people stay away from drug abuse and addiction. This year is N300m. Details to follow soon.”

This continues a legacy of philanthropy, starting with his 2021 birthday donation, where he raised N200m from friends and fans and added his own N50m for orphanages across Nigeria.

In 2022, Davido founded the Davido Adeleke Foundation to support orphanages in Nigeria and Africa. Last year, he donated N237m to orphanages nationwide.
