Delta PDP Elects New Executive Members

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Delta State, has elected new leaders and members of the state party executive, where Chief Solomon Arenyeka emerged as the chairman.

Others include the deputy chairman, Chief Moses Iduh and the three senatorial chairmen, Engr Dan Ossai, Delta North; Hon Anthony Akpomiemie, Delta Central and Prince Emma Amgbadugba, Delta South.

Meanwhile, the speaker, Delta State House of Assembly (DSYA), Hon Dennis Guwor has charged the newly elected executive of the PDP in the state to be committed to the ideals of the party.

The speaker, who led Warri South West delegates to the party’s congress held in Asaba, commended the entire process that led to the formation of the new PDP Exco in the state.

Hon Gwor expressed confidence that the emergence of Chief Arenyeka and other executive members was a testament to their dedication, hard work and pedigree in party politics.

He said, “I congratulate the newly elected leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State. They will bring fresh ideas, energy and direction to the ruling PDP in Delta State.

“This marks a new chapter in our party’s journey and I am confident that our new leaders will build on the successes of the past while introducing fresh ideas to drive our party forward.”

Guwor assured that as the speaker of the assembly, he looks forward to working with them to achieve desired goals.

The speaker who represents Warri South West in the House pledged his support to and cooperation with the new leadership of the party.
