Gov. Oborevwori has approved the sum of N82m in Financial Assistance to Nigerian Law School Students (2023/2024 Set) of Delta State origin.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Executive Secretary, Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board, Dr. Godfrey Enita.
According to the statement, “His Excellency, the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori has graciously approved the sum of N82m as financial assistance to Students of Delta State origin in the Seven Nigerian Law Schools across the Country.”
The statement added that a total of 759 students will benefit from the State Government’s Law School Financial Assistance Scheme in the 2023/2024 academic session.

The statement further read that the initiative was aimed at easing the financial burden on students during their stay at the Law School.
Recall that recently, Gov. Oborevwori approved the release of N713m for the State Government’s Students Bursary Scheme to 32,028 beneficiaries for the 2023/2024 academic session in public and private tertiary institutions across Nigeria.
This approval of the state government brings to the fore the commitment of the Oborevwori administration to the continuous welfare of students of Delta State origin in tertiary institutions across Nigeria, and also underscores the administration’s strategy to create an army of vibrant, intelligent, educated and purpose-driven young persons who will drive the economic growth of a Delta with endless possibilities.
