Delta to enhance security with new trust fund initiative

The Delta State Government has engaged two consultants for the take-off of its Security Trust Fund.

The Executive Secretary of Delta State Security Trust Fund, Samuel Osasa, stated this while unveiling the consultants on Wednesday in Asaba, the state capital.

Osasa said, “Today, we are unveiling the trust funds Consultants in compliance with His Excellency Governor Sherrif Oborevwori’s directive.

“The trust funds Consultants will do more job to the public to raise awareness of their existence, of being the vehicle to achieve greater security in Delta State.

“The purpose of this unveiling is to inform the public that consultants have been engaged with the aim of soliciting funds to assist all security operatives, as an issue of security of lives and properties should not be left to the state government alone.

“The two Trust Fund Consultants are HideaPlus Consultants and North-South Security Limited with their respective associates”

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of HideasPlus Ltd, Tony Pemu, promised to put in their best, noting that security is everybody’s business.

He added that negative reports about security affect all, just as he appealed to the media to give good coverage.

Also speaking, the Managing Director of North South Security Company, Charles Omordia, noted that fundraising would help to combat and curb insecurity through technology while calling on well-meaning Nigerians to be involved in the fundraising.
