Deputy Speaker, Kalu Felicitates Ex-Abia State Assembly Minority Leader, Chukwu on Birthday

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu has felicitated the former minority leader of Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Chijioke Chukwu on his birthday.

In statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Levinus Nwabughiogu on Friday, Kalu described Chukwu as a dependable brother, trusted political ally and constituent who has always rallied round him to advance the fortunes of Bende Federal Constituency of Abia State.

The deputy speaker recalled the numerous contributions of the former Abia lawmaker, saying that his legislative imprints are seen in the body of laws that promote democracy and good governance in the State.

Kalu hailed Chukwu’s candour, stressing that he is a courageous man who would not hesitate to speak the truth at at times.

The Deputy Speaker prayed God to continue to bless the former minority leader with long life in good health.
