DJ Neptune Denies Defrauding Laycon, Explains Royalty Dispute

Nigerian disc jockey, DJ Neptune, has denied accusations of defrauding singer and former BBNaija winner, Laycon, over unpaid royalties for their collaboration ‘Nobody Icons’ Remix’.

In a recent podcast appearance, DJ Neptune explained that the issue was a matter of documentation and recouping investment costs, not fraud. He stated that Laycon’s team was proposed a certain percentage, which they rejected, and the conversation was ongoing between their lawyers.

DJ Neptune expressed disappointment in Laycon’s public call-out, feeling it portrayed him as dishonest. He emphasized their brotherly relationship and commitment to resolving the issue through legal channels.
