Drake Loses $300,000 Bet on Copa America Semifinal

Renowned Canadian rapper, Drake, has lost a substantial bet of $300,000 after Argentina defeated Canada in the Copa America semifinal. Despite his prediction, Argentina emerged victorious, winning 2-0 at New York’s MetLife Stadium on Tuesday night.

Drake had placed the bet on Canada, expecting a payout of $2,880,000 if they won. However, goals from Lionel Messi and Julian Alvarez secured Argentina’s place in the final.

The rapper had shared his bet slip on Instagram, jokingly referencing Lionel Messi, “This could get Messi @stake.” Unfortunately, his prediction didn’t materialize, and Canada will now play for third place.

Argentina will face the winner of the Uruguay vs. Colombia semifinal in the final on July 14 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
