Eddie Hearn Tells Boxing Fans What To Expect From Anthony Joshua Vs Daniel Dubois Clash

Anthony Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn has described his client and his next opponent, Daniel Dubois as two dangerous boxers who are currently difficult to go against.

Eddie Hearn noted that Daniel Dubois’ hard-fought victory over Jarrell Miller and Filip Hrgovic has taken the British heavyweight boxer to a whole new level in his career.

Note that as Dubois enjoyed back-to-back victories in his last two games, Joshua has been on a rollercoaster of victories in his last three games all of which he won via knockouts.

The two will be meeting at Wembley Stadium, London on September 21, 2024, to battle for the IBF heavyweight title. If Joshua wins the bout, that will make him a three-time heavyweight champion of the world and give him a chance to face either Oleksandr Usyk or Tyson Fury for an undisputed heavyweight championship.

Ahead of the September bout, Eddie Hearn noted that it is not a good time for any boxer to face either Joshua or Dubois.

“Both are going to be letting their hands go,” Hearn told BoxingScene.

“Both are very dangerous. Some people call it a ‘shootout’. But I think AJ’s top sniper. He’s too accurate; he’s too good; and I think if you’re going to get hit against Anthony Joshua you’re going to have serious problems, and AJ’s not gonna stand in front of him like Filip Hrgovic and just ship shots.

“It’s two very dangerous heavyweight punchers, who are in the form and confidence of their career. For Dubois, the Miller and the Hrgovic fight have taken him to the most dangerous point of his career so far. It’s not a good time to fight Dubois, and it’s definitely not a good time to fight AJ. The key points for me are two massive punchers in their absolute primes.”
