Edo 2024: APC’s Okpebholo Pledges To Revive Ojirami Dam Within 100 Days In Office

Barely 17 days to the September 21 governorship election in Edo State, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Monday Okpebholo on Friday, assured the people of Akoko-Edo local government that he would revive the abandoned Ojirami Dam if elected.

Okpebholo also assured the people that the road between Ososo and Okpella will be given immediate attention within the same period by his administration.

The APC governorship flag bearer told the people that his five-point agenda would be strictly implemented, adding,” I assured you that my five points agenda will be followed to the letter. The five-point agenda will be road construction, health, insecurity, education and agriculture,” he stated.

He assured the people of Akoko-Edo community that teachers would be employed to teach in their schools and that he will ensure provision of 24-twenty hours electricity.

Similarly, the Minister for Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Abubakar Momoh, while mobilising support for the APC candidate, stressed that the reconstruction of Igarra, Auchi, Atte roads are already in the NDDC budget for this year.

He urged the people to come out on election day to vote on September 21.

Former governor of Edo State, Senator Adams Oshiomhole, also called on the people of Akoko-Edo to vote APC on September 21.

He said he brought Monday Okpebholo to them so that they could hear from him and his plan for the people of Akoko-Edo.

He pleaded with the people to vote APC on Election Day, saying that Okpebholo has what it takes to provide the dividends of democracy

“Some people will come to you to give you money to vote for them, collect the money and vote for Okpebholo of the APC, it is your money which they were supposed to use to work for you,” he stated.
