Edo NMA commends elders’ role of mentorship

The Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) Edo State Branch on Saturday commended the role of elders in the medical profession in ensuring a successful leadership retreat.

In a statement signed by Dr. Eustace Oseghale, Chairman, NMA Edo State, he commended the recipients of the Edo NMA Leadership Awards, Prof. Philip Abiodun and Prof.

Darlington Obaseki, for consistently providing exemplary leadership.

While appreciating the State Executive Council and members for the success of her leadership retreat, Dr. Oseghale noted that the Chief Medical Director, Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital (ISTH), Prof. Reuben Eifediyi’s support remains unequal following his very insightful lecture.

The event climaxed with the reopening of the newly renovated and refurbished Professor Sylvanus Okogbenin Doctors’ lounge.
