Eid-el-Kabir: Gov. Buni tasks Muslims to extend lessons of sacrifice, love to neighbours

Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has tasked Muslim faithful to extend lessons of sacrifice, charity, and love to neighbours, brothers, and friends irrespective of political, religious, and cultural differences.

The Governor gave the charge in a Sallah message by his Media Aide, Mamman Mohammed.

Buni, who felicitated with the faithful on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir Sallah festival, assured more government support to security, agriculture, and infrastructural development in the state.

“We should continue to cooperate and support the security agencies with credible and timely information to promote proactive approach to collectively fight against insecurity,” he advised.

He commended officers and men of the Nigerian Army and other security agencies, vigilante and hunter groups for their resilience and commitment towards improved security in the state.

Buni urged the people to take advantage of the rainy season to massively engage in agriculture for food security and economic prosperity
