He said: “Some of these solutions, which hitherto did not exist, will help Lagos to develop and implement innovative platforms targeted at delivering services to citizens to harness new revenue streams, thereby positioning the state as a model for innovative governance and economic innovations in Nigeria and beyond.

We are aware that Lagos State is a home for all Nigerians, a hub for commercial and business activities and as such is continuously in need of ways to improve its revenue generation to constantly improve the lives and livelihood of its citizens and inhabitants. This is our inspiration for the summit, which is intended to be all-encompassing; involving all critical stakeholders in all aspects of the commanding heights of the economy – in Lagos, Nigeria, and globally.”

The summit will feature keynote speeches and panel discussions, facilitated by renowned experts and stakeholders who are committed to driving the economic growth and development in Lagos State.

Okupe further said: “One of the core objectives of the summit is to ensure that the state generates additional revenues to enable it to deliver improved services and amenities, which in turn, will enhance the standard of living and livelihood for Lagosians, making the state a better place to live, work and conduct business.

“Increased revenue also means more economic opportunities for the citizens and residents of Lagos State. The summit will discuss initiatives to support job creation, entrepreneurship, and the growth of small businesses. By fostering a conducive environment for economic activities, Lagos can expect to see significant advancements in its revenue base and economic landscape.”
