Etsako East LGA Chair Hails Momoh’s Appointment, Sue For Collaboration

The executive chairman of Etsako East local government area of Edo State, Hon. Benedicta Attoh, said the appointment of Engr. Abubakar Momoh, to be in charge of the Ministry of Regional Development, is a further opportunity to expand infrastructural development in Etsako East LGA and Edo North.

Princess Attoh, in a press statement, added that the appointment confirmed his well-recognised stewardship of the region as a member of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s cabinet.

Part of the statement reads, “I write on behalf of the entire people of our North Ivie Communities for this Divine upliftment that has brought our microscopic Ivie Zone into national limelight. As an uncle and elder brother, we wish you the best as you continue to serve our nation meritoriously.

“My warmest wishes as we look forward to working together to consolidate cooperation on various issues that bind us in our collective efforts to develop the Etsako East local government area.

Your new appointment offers a greater opportunity to heal all the infrastructural challenges that ail us as a people.

“As the former Minister of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), you played your part exactly as envisaged hence the recognition as a super coordinating minister of the federation regional development.

“Beyond just being a minister, you represent the voice of every region in Nigeria, and it’s our prayer and expectation that God will brace you up with his manifold mercies and grace to exceed expectations for your new task.”

“I call on you to use your new office to deepen the relationship between every region and help build lasting peace and unity across every region through developmental inter-connectivity projects that bind the nation together.”
