A House of Representatives member representing Fika/Fune Federal Constituency, Engr Buba Muhammed Jajere, has sympathised with victims of the floods that wreaked havoc in his constituency of Yobe State.

He made this known in a series of social media posts. He stated that the devastating floods destroyed homes, farms and businesses in his community.

Jajere said, “My heart goes out to all those affected by this calamity. I understand the pain and hardship that this disaster has caused, and I want you to know that my thoughts are with each and every one of you during this difficult time.’’

According to him, “ It’s important to remember that we are a community. We will face this challenge together, and I am committed to doing everything in my power to support you.”

He expressed deep regret over the incident, which left thousands of households homeless and described it as deeply disturbing and vowed that they would rebuild and recover from this disaster.

“I want to use this opportunity to commiserate with our brothers and sisters affected by the recent flood disaster that rendered many people homeless in the areas,” Jajere said.

“I urge the victims and the people of Fika/Fune to be patient, remain grateful to Almighty God, and view this disaster as something destined by Allah (SWT). I have faith in our resilience and the strength of our spirit,” he added.
