Naija News reports that the Leicester City player has etched his name among the legends of Nigerian football in the Premier League after clinching 9th position among Super Eagles players that have made such appearances in the England tournament.

With this milestone, Ndidi joins the likes of Nwankwo Kanu, a former Arsenal star with 273 Premier League appearances, and Shola Ameobi, who holds the record for the most appearances by a Nigerian with 298.

Ndidi has become a vital component of Leicester’s midfield, and he is recognized for his unwavering consistency and dedication.

The player currently trails behind notable players like Victor Moses (220) and Victor Anichebe (205) regarding appearances.

Ndidi’s rise in the rankings highlights his importance to Leicester City and the Premier League, with Kelechi Iheanacho closely following in tenth place with 196 appearances.

With Ndidi now firmly positioned among these esteemed players, the list of Nigerian Premier League appearances also features John Obi Mikel (249), Alex Iwobi (261), and Yakubu Aiyegbeni (252).
