Fusion Records berths with King Six, Mani Lapussh

The Nigerian music industry is undoubtedly one of the fastest growing in the world, with afrobeats singers in demand in different parts of the world.

Determined to make its own contributions to the burgeoning industry, a new record label, Fusion Records, has emerged on the scene.

The company recently made its debut by unveiling its two pioneer acts— Sixtus Ohajiogu, aka King Six; and Emmanuel Ede, aka Mani Lapush.

The two artistes are rappers, singers and songwriters; while Lapussh is also a dancer and actor.

In a statement sent to Sunday Scoop, the label stated that it aimed to become a platform for extraordinary music that transcends borders. It added that by embracing a varying range of genres and styles from all around the world, it was determined to connect with a global audience, bringing the rich and dynamic sounds of music to the world stage.

The statement added that the duo of Nonso Nkeonye and David Adeyemi will be at the helm of the label.

It stated that their years of experience and understanding of the music and creative industry will come into play, skyrocketing the label with potentials for mainstream industry conversations.

“Their expertise spans artiste management, music production, marketing, and brand development, providing guidance and direction as the label creates a powerful space for artistes to grow, thrive and reach new heights in their careers,” it said.

The statement also noted that the record company had a strong focus on artiste development and dedication to creative freedom.
