Gallas Criticizes Chelsea Star Levi Colwill’s Lack of Improvement

Former Chelsea defender William Gallas has expressed disappointment with the current form of Chelsea star Levi Colwill. Gallas believes that Colwill, 21, has not shown any improvement in his game, despite being given a key role in Chelsea’s defense.

Gallas attributed Colwill’s struggles to the lack of experienced players around him, particularly the departure of veteran defender Thiago Silva. He stated that playing alongside Silva for a few more years would have helped Colwill develop into a top-class defender.

“Levi Colwill, he’s 21 years old, but it’s a shame that the boy could not play maybe one or two more years with Thiago Silva,” Gallas told Prime Casino. “If he was playing with Thiago Silva for two more years, he would develop into a monster.”

Gallas also noted that Colwill’s inexperience is evident in his inability to manage the defense line effectively. He compared Colwill’s situation to that of John Terry, who was able to lead the defense line from a young age.
