Kebbi State Home Savings and Loans Limited (KBSHS&L) which in the recent years was in inadequate Capitalisation and has no corporate governance is now recapitalised by the governor, Dr Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu.
The bank which was an institution mainly for the indigenes of Kebbi State particularly civil Servants has been back in life within one year administration of Governor Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu.
This was made known yesterday by the managing director of the bank, Dr Ahmed Musbahu Bunza during an interview with Journalists held yesterday at his office in Birnin Kebbi.
He added that Home Savings bank has full board members who are indigenes and competent, drawn from industries and above all have zeal to move the bank forward.
“The governor has recapitalised the Home Savings within one year of his administration, the bank is now back on track, we don’t have issues of corporate governance and capitalisation and even on recovery, we made serious progress in terms of recovery,” said Dr Bunza.
What we now put in place is a transformation project on the lives of the welfare of people of Kebbi State particularly our esteemed customers which concerns e-banking so that we enter into a new banking system in line with current technologies “ he added.
He also called on debtors to the bank to come to settle their outstanding loans before the bank takes legal action against them.
