Group empowers artisans for economic sustainability

In a bid to revive businesses, and promote artisanship and vocational training, a non-governmental organisation, Help One Foundation (HOF), has empowered a group of persons through career mentorship and capacity-building exercises.

Convener of HOF, James Expensive, while speaking at a seminar in Ikorodu, Lagos, restated the foundation’s commitment to complement the efforts of the government in improving human capacity building.

He said this is achieved by mobilising and engaging stakeholders toward the achievement of its set goals and objectives.

Expensive, at the event, appealed to youths to desist from crimes and other anti-social behaviours, adding that the foundation is ready to empower youths.

A participant, Uchenna Ochiabuto, said the business and empowerment seminar was apt, especially at this critical period in the country, saying the move would help to reduce poverty and improve the sta.
