Guinness Nigeria appoints new director

Guinness Nigeria Plc has announced the appointment of Mrs Vivien Shobo as an independent non-executive director.

According to a statement by Guinness, Shobo’s appointment will be effective September 1, 2024.

The firm stated that Shobo would be bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the board.

She is currently the chief executive officer of FVS Advisory Partners and before this, from September 2003 to December 2019, she was the chief executive officer of Agusto & Co., the foremost pan-African credit rating agency and a leading provider of economic and industry research in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Under her leadership, Agusto & Co. fortified its position as a leading pan-African credit rating agency and diversified its product and revenue base

A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Shobo holds an MBA in Finance from Manchester Business School in the United Kingdom.

She has further honed her skills through management and leadership programmes at institutions, including Harvard Business School, Wharton Business School, and Lagos Business School.

According to the brewer, Shobo is a financial analyst with an excellent reputation and a proven track record of achievements.
