Hardship: Protesters ignore Tinubu’s order, resume demonstration in Lagos [VIDEO]

A half-dressed man on Monday stormed Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Park, Ojota, Lagos State, to continue the demonstration in the ongoing protest against hardship and bad governance in Nigeria.

The protesters expressed their displeasure with President Bola Tinubu’s nationwide broadcast on Sunday, considering it rather unfortunate that it took Tinubu three days of protest to address the country.

In a viral video on social media, the half-dressed man among the protesters was heard chanting in Yoruba, “We are angry, we are hungry.”

Juwon Sanyaolu, tweeting as #AyowoleSanyaolu, wrote, “Protest has started in Ojota; if you are still home, you are wrong!”

The nationwide protest highlights the frustration among Nigerians concerning national issues.
