Nigerian singer Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel popularly known as Dammy Krane has warned that global singer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido should be held accountable should anything happen to him.
Krane, in a recent post on X, alleged that fellow singer, Davido had him arrested.
He claimed that the singer paid the authorities to detain him under the pretense of being involved in illegal activities related to Flutterwave and cryptocurrency scams.
“Oppressor @davido has paid them to arrest me,” he wrote.
“They wrote petition lying that I am into flutterwave & crypto scam just to arrest me.
“This is how they keep using the bad cops to spoil the name of the police.
“If anything happens to me @davido should be held responsible,” Krane said.
Davido and his team have not responded to Krane’s latest accusations.
LEADERSHIP recalls that Krane’s dispute with Davido started last year when he claimed that Davido owed him for songwriting contributions.
Krane also accused Davido of sabotaging his record deal with Sony Music.
Davido responded to the accusations by calling Krane “ungrateful” and stating that he did not receive any payment for their collaborations.
Additionally, Davido claimed that he offered shelter and support to Krane during a challenging period when he was without a home.
Since then, Krane has continued to attack Davido on social media, accusing him of being involved in the death of his friend, Tagbo Umeike, who died from alleged alcohol poisoning in October 2017.
Davido dismissed claims, and also threatened to sue Krane for “defamation of character and cyberbullying”.
