I’m fulfilling purpose with gospel music — Nathan the Psalmist

A United Kingdom-based gospel singer, Nathan Bello, aka Nathan the Psalmist, has said that he is fulfilling his life’s purpose by making gospel music.

He told Sunday Scoop, “Before I came out of my mother’s womb, He had sanctified me, and ordained me prophet unto nations. So, God has made this happen; not me. I thank Him because I am fulfilling purpose.”

Speaking on the challenges he is facing, the singer said, “Music is a universal language that does not change. So, people from all over the world can ‘flow’ with one’s tune, so far it’s pleasing to their ears.

“The only challenge is that not everyone wants to hear the name of Jesus. But, I won’t stop calling it because that’s the ‘market I am trying to sell’ through the music.

“Promotions is another problem, but thank God for social media, which has given one space to explore and spread one’s works.”

The singer, who describes his sound as contemporary gospel afrobeats, RnB and high praise, released his first album in 2021. Titled, The Amazing God, it was followed by a single titled, Faith.

He added that he was gearing up to release two singles—I’m a Miracle, and Taking Over.
