I’m not a warmonger, says Osun monarch

The Alapomu of Apomu, Oba Kayode Afolabi, has refuted the perception that he is a war monger as stated in an opinion article published in a national paper.

Oba Afolabi said he was peaceful person, noting that the opinion was biased and bereft of facts.

In a statement by his media aide, Tolu Adetunji, the traditional ruler said the opinion was based on a viral video that he had refuted in many national newspapers and online publications.

“The rebuttal was made shortly after the video went viral nearly a week ago”, he said.

The King said the video was doctored to bring his reputation down in the eyes of the right-thinking members of the society.

He advised that anyone who wants to do a story or write an opinion on the video should be fair and objective.
