A reporter with the Foundation for Investigative Journalism, Daniel Ojukwu, who was abducted in an exclusive interview with The PUNCH Newspapers has recounted his harrowing experience after being abducted by the Intelligence Response Team of the Inspector General of Police and held captive for 10 days.

He revealed that he was detained alongside confessed murderers and fraudsters, and suffered a severe asthma attack that required urgent medical attention.

He also disclosed that he went without food for two days.
