An X social media influencer, Shola, has shared why he stopped going to church.

In a now-blown tweet, Shola opened up about what happened between him and his pastor that made him stop attending church services.

According to Shola, when he needed something, his pastor told him to pray about his need. However, when the church was in need of something, he was told to give his resources.

'Church boy' dumps Christianity

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a 'church boy' had quit Christianity after failing a course in school.

An X user @Its_Unchained, who shared the story, said his lodge mate was religious from his years one to three.

According to @Its_Unchained, his lodge mate occasionally told them to be serious about their lives and leave women. However, he missed practicals in year three due to fellowship activities and failed the course despite praying to God about it.
