Nigeria is endowed with chains of tourist sites that will continue to make you wonder at nature. Ibeno Beach is one of such, a good place to visit with your family and friends in order to experience the true wonders of creation. The Ibeno Beach is one of the beaches on the Atlantic Ocean along the shorelines of Ibeno, a coastal city in Akwa Ibom State.
It is the longest sand beach in West Africa. Qua Iboe River estuary is the major estuary in Ibeno Beach. Ibeno Beach stretches for about 30 kilometres from Ibeno to James Town along the Atlantic coastline of Akwa Ibom State in Nigeria. It is the best tourist site in Akwa Ibom State. With its beautiful coastline, Ibeno provides endless natural facilities for tourism, water sporting, beach soccer and general boating.
The beach is located in Ibeno, a local government area of Akwa Ibom State in South South part of the country which is named after the locality. In June 2010, there was a report of oil spill on the beach.

Ibeno, is well known for its rich crude oil reserves, but beyond that, its resplendent beach offers a nerve calming tourist attraction. At low tide, cars and motorbikes are able to drive through the edge of the waves.
The beach front offers breathtaking scenes that are spectacular to behold; whether at sunrise, daylight or sunset.
The sound of her roaring waves is amazing, the cool breeze that emanates from the water is soothing to the soul. At the backdrop, the scattered gas that flares from crude oil explorations paint an image of flaming tongues of fire on the sea.
The beach is about one hour drive from the city centre of Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom State.
