IPOB’s Lawyer Gives Legal Counsel To Davido On Imade, Sophia

Indigenous People of Biafra  (IPOB) lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, has provided David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, legal advice on issue concerning his daughter Adeleke Imade and her mother, Sophia Momodu.

Naija News reported that Sophia Momodu, in a counter-affidavit, claimed Davido’s environment would be unsafe for her daughter Imade.

Sophia in the affidavit said the “Unavailable” crooner lives a controversial lifestyle and would expose her daughter to trauma.

In response, on his X handle, the Afrobeat superstar expressed worry that Sophia constantly brings up the death of his late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, on issues of Imade’s custody.

Davido, in a message that may be a decision to discontinue pursuing the custody of Imade, said “Your constantly bringing up the death of my child at any point you can to just remind us of this tragedy that haunts us every day of our lives.”

“Imade will grow up to see I fought for her .. as for now u can have her .. P.S she won’t be a child forever. Imade Aurora Adeleke! Your father loves you!” Davido wrote on Friday.

IPOB’s lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, advised Davido to take the part he has chosen by ignoring further legal moves.

Ejiofor described Sophia as an opportunist. He said the court has limited intervention in the claim made by Sophia.

“She is an opportunist, manipulating the present reality to her advantage. Though it’s difficult a decision, but time shall vindicate you. Court has limited intervention in situation such as this but in the fullness of time, Imade will grow to understand the mind game she has been subjected to,” Ejiofor advised on Saturday.
