FCT, Abuja - The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has issued a deadline date to tertiary institutions in the country for the submission of the matriculation list.
Universities, polytechnics, and others are to submit their matriculation lists to the Federal Ministry of Education through JAMB no later than three months after matriculation ceremonies.

According to the statement, the directive will ensure that only eligible students graduate and participate in the NYSC program.
It will also reinforce JAMB's measures to prevent admission irregularities in the nation's tertiary institutions.

Legit.ng recalls that JAMB reiterated that any admissions conducted outside the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) will be null and void, urging institutions to adhere to established guidelines.
The Board emphasized the importance of using the Integrated Brochure and Syllabus System (IBASS) for paperless communication and outlined that only official email addresses will be permitted for CAPS access.
These measures aim to eliminate illegal admissions and ensure compliance with federal regulations.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that JAMB said any daily part-time programme that is organised by any institution is nothing but a fraud.
The examination body explained that part-time programmes are typically run on weekends or a particular period like Friday evening.
JAMB automates national matriculation list
