Japa: Top ten most expensive cities to live in 2024

If you are currently searching for places to move to outside Nigeria you should probably avoid places with high cost of living driven by its competitive housing market, transportation costs, and high prices for goods and services.

The Cost of Living City Ranking 2024 holds Hong Kong and Singapore as the most expensive cities for expatriates. They hold the first and second spots on the list.

The survey compared the costs of over 200 items in each of the 226 cities studied, including housing, transportation, food, clothing, household goods, and entertainment.

High inflation and rising economic and geopolitical tensions have driven up housing, utilities, local taxes, and education prices, according to the report which features European cities as some of the most expensive places to live in. SEE FULL LIST HERE
